Tech in the Time of Coronavirus is a series of virtual salons guiding the tech sector to deploy most effectively in the COVID-19 crisis. The series consists of several virtual salons connecting experts from the crisis response, social, and tech sectors around targeted subject areas and is designed to support cross-sector productive action and collaboration.
The series builds on the existing Tech Salon infrastructure, expanding into the online space and allowing for global participation. In each event, lead discussants speak first, level-setting group awareness of the subject matter. These portions are recorded and shared below. The remainder of the salon is an off-the-record discussion among participants in smaller break-out groups.
The series is made possible by engagement with a selection of key partners, including ThoughtWorks, Pivotal Act, Digital Impact Alliance, GitHub, Vodafone Foundation Americas, and Inveneo.
