Vodafone’s Efforts to Expand ICT in the Developing World

In what has become an annual tradition, we’re honored to have Terry Kramer, now Regional President – Vodafone Americas, return to the Technology Salon and update us on Vodafone’s continued efforts to bring mobile technology to the developing world.

Note: This is a San Francisco event, at mission*social, the Inveneo offices on Mission Street in SoMa

March SF Technology Salon
Thursday, March 25, 8:30-10am
mission*social Conference Room
972 Mission Street, 5th Floor

We’ll have espresso and donuts for a morning rush, but seating is limited. So the first fifteen (15) to RSVP will be confirmed attendance and then there will be a waitlist.

And while Terry organizes his thoughts for this year’s discussion, be sure to review his talk last year where he issued a m-Development Challenge from Vodafone.

Hi! Will you post the discussion conclusions for the ones that can’t attend? Do you have any kind of E-learning o video to see the conference from other countries?

  2. Wayan Vota says:

    Monica,
One of the 3 key tenants of the Salon is its intimacy. We speak face-to-face in a small group without broadcasts of our thoughts beyond the room’s walls.
So to participate directly, you’ll need to be present at the Salon.
You can participate afterward – we’ll post a session synopsis here for you to read and comment on.

    Hi Monica,
I’ve often felt the same way about Technology Salon’s events in the DC, so I understand, but there is something inherently awesome too about face-to-face meetings.
It was a good discussion- I’ve summarized some main points here on my blog: http://bit.ly/9ju4ee, if you are interested. There was also Terry’s Powerpoint (not sure what the link is yet).
